    The Challenge

A legacy Drupal 7 site bottlenecked content publishing, scored poorly on Core Web Vitals, and made it nearly impossible for patients to find the right provider. Marketing needed autonomy, SEO needed structure, and IT needed a maintainable architecture.

    Our Approach

    • Discovery sprints with marketing, service-line owners, and patient experience to map jobs-to-be-done
    • Headless rebuild on Next.js + Sanity CMS with a structured content model for providers, locations, and service lines
    • Schema.org Hospital, Physician, and MedicalSpecialty markup wired into every template
    • Algolia-powered provider search with synonyms, typo-tolerance, and location bias
    • WCAG 2.2 AA audit pass with axe-core CI gating and manual screen-reader QA

    Functionality We Built

    Provider Directory

Faceted search across 1,200+ providers with specialty, language, insurance, gender, and distance filters — sub-150ms response via Algolia.

    Service Line Hubs

Composable landing pages for cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, and more — editors assemble from a block library without dev tickets.

    Find a Location

Geo-aware location finder with Google Maps, hours, accepted insurance, click-to-call, and turn-by-turn directions.

    Editorial Content Hub

Author-driven articles with category taxonomy, related-content engine, and structured Article + MedicalWebPage schema.

    Additional Capabilities

    • Searchable provider directory with specialty & location filters
    • Service-line landing pages with structured data (Schema.org Hospital / Physician)
    • Editorial content hub with author profiles and category taxonomy
    • Find-a-location with map integration and click-to-call
    • WCAG 2.2 AA compliance with keyboard-first navigation
